Parkinson's disease is the fastest-growing neurological disorder worldwide, and instability is a major complication that leads to falls, injuries, and loss of independence. Reliable and objective assessment of postural instability is essential for tracking progression and personalizing treatment.

The current gold-standard test can be variable in execution and subjective in evaluation. This project develops a user-friendly clinical tensile test with a standardized and objective digital biomarker for rebalancing, aiming to establish a stronger clinical standard for monitoring Parkinson's disease.
